How to Record Audio using Audacity
Not a bad video.
But your sound quality is not good :-/ background rustle is louder as your
voice.
you don’t even have windows 8 -__-
Thank you! very helpful for a beginner.
Thanks, Will!
Exactly. Newbies, basically, are new to something.

1 minute 20 seconds to say, “Make sure your mic is plugged in” -_-
can you record with background music? or play the sound record and music at
the same time?
Does it sound good with segma tel audio or just usb mics HELP ME!!!
This was very helpful! Thank you! Does audacity record voice overs; because
I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried it, but if you record once and stop it,
once you record again and play–both recordings play, but the second
recording plays over the first.

Its hard to make a Hatield cry, but your poem di the trick.
Lol 33 likes though not bad xD
you just enter their channel.. you cant see every single thing they’ve
viewed, but what they have liked / commented on..
Awesome dude! I look forward to hearing your Reason compositions rewired
through Cubase, with ambient sounds recorded through mic and then your
vocals over the top. Dont forget to balance your levels and master your
various tracks. Feel free to add a lil’ sidechain on your compressions too
and remember to cut out any unused frequencies on your signals as itll
muddle up your mix. Cant wait to hear you ‘UNnoobish’ compositions! Peace.
Jim Morrison is a great poet
actually they just have no idea how to use it. Check out my recordings. I
use it for everything and they turn out surprisingly good.
Audacity is free 😐
1) How do you protect yourself from getting deaf ?
2) In 25:10…if you have an analogue signal, the cool digital high
roll-off filters in software might not be of any help as it has to get
sampled before it is available for the computer to process and then you
already have got the artifacts.
LOLLLLL at 27:02, great video thanks :)
If you could do one of these videos on EQing and frequencies you would SAVE
MY AND COUNTLESS LIVES. lol. Either way, your vids are great man.
Excellent video! Very informative. You are simplifying things in an elegant
matter in my opinion. I just got one question. When you’re describing the
dithering. You subtract 0.45 and then add a random number, why are you
subtracting 0.45 and then applying random number X instead of just applying
random number X minus 0.45 (X-0.45)? Where does the 0.45 come from?
I double checked if you did mention it in the video but i could find
anything, sorry if i missed it. Thank you for a good lecture!
